After removing the tall plastic protectors and installing the fence deterrent with short plastic protectors, allows these trees to reach maturity without animal interference, thus allowing for food sources for the future.This project was for historical value only. The chapter not only creates habitat for wildlife. It also provides community service to better our community and preserve history. As a chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation it makes us proud we can do things not only for wildlife but for hunters and non-hunters alike.
